Super Mario Advance is really a remake of Super Mario Bros 2 with some new additions. The game has new items to collect, like special coins and once you collect all the special coins, the game then challenges players to go on a Yoshi egg hunt on every level. There also has been some graphical tweaks like giant enemies, turnips and POW boxes. For those of us who have never played Super Mario Bros 2, it is probably the oddest Mario game ever. Players can pick up enemies and throw it at others. Turnips and Magic Potions can be plucked from the ground. Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Peach are all playable each with their own special skills. As a side note, this game wasn't a Mario game to start out with. On top of all this Nintendo included a remake of the Super Mario Bros arcade game. Players can battle it out with a link cable and single cartridge. The game was availabe when the GameBoy Advance came out.
