That meter to the left is how much heat your party can take. The meter will fill up quickly as Lamakan desert is a very hot place. Run into the bright sand and watch as your meter rises. Don't be discouraged, keep running til you find a circle of rocks, use Reveal and it'll turn into a soothing Oasis. Keep running and take a break on the dark sand.
If you go left from here and use the Reveal psynergy on the circle of rocks you'll find a psynergy
stone. The upper path leads to another Oasis. Not far from that Oasis is dark sand. If you go up from the dark sand, there is a treasure chest
with the Vulcan Axe inside. Go back to the last Oasis and relieve heat exhaustion.
Go back to the dark sand area and head right, ignore the next ring of rocks as its a trick with a powerful enemey hiding. Go up and the next one is a Oasis. Walk up to the next area.
This area is huge, there is no single path. It has alot of
rings of rocks. Some them are Oasis, others are enemies, some are treasures and one of them is a Djinni. Lets get the Djinni out of the way first. Walk north and the first circle of rocks you'll see is a Oasis. From here walk up, but to the left a little, you should see two rings of rocks. The right one is a trap and the left one has the Djinni.
Jupiter Djinni Smog is a nice one, it'll join without fighting. Thats nice for a change, as the heat is intense.
